I would LOVE to monkey. I am pretty fumed they released this a year after I bought my Ruckus. There’s already a huge aftermarket for these. They look and sound awesome

Up until a few weekends ago I thought they weren’t destined for the US. Imagine my surprise when I spotted one in a (closed) dealership in the middle of South Dakota!

I think I saw one of these couple days ago. I couldn’t figure out what it actually was because it looked like a Monkey but it was way too big for one. The old Mon ke y looks like this:

When I lived in Detroit, I worked 2 miles from home. Rode it to work every day it w asn’ t wet or cold. Its a fun toy to zip around town in. Gets up to at least 40MPH. 45 on good days. Huge aftermarket, engine swaps, stretch kits. I love it.

Generally, yes. I don’t like the look of the Grom, or most sport bikes. I prefer the look of the Ruckus or Monkey.

A stock Ruckus is pretty much what I'd want. But I think I'd need a motorcycle license for one here in PA, and I don't currently have that.

I think they overpriced it by $500-$1000, but aside from that it’s a great design.

For me though, I’d be buying the new super cub out of the three honda 125cc machines.

The dealership near me lists them at 2,749. I'm not sure if there's much wiggle room in that price though. And I wonder if they'd even sell one to me if I don't have a motorcycle license yet.

They probably won’t let you ride it home. But they fit in smaller van spaces.

This dealership offers license courses, so I might just go ahead and look into that first.

I don't think I could squeeze a Ruckus into my Fiat 500.

So one of the biggest reasons that I don't have any two-wheeled fun in my life is that my girlfriend is pretty firmly against them. We haven't talked about it in a while though. I showed her a picture of a Ruckus and she just laughed and said "well if you want a scooter I don't care."

My gf is very supportive when it comes to cars, but right before I met her, her best friend's dad died in a motorcycle accident. So I understand her concern, and it's not like I was already riding bikes when i met her. It was just something that I wanted to try.
